The “Undying Legends” (UL) are an international family of talented Wolfenstein gamers. UL is one of the best-known and most stable clans in Return to Castle Wolfenstein (1.0 version). Our current leadership includes Rabbi, Ron Mexico, Lily, and Blackfire. The unsurpassed reputation and perpetual success implied by our label is reality, reflected in the past, present, and future of the clan.

“We beat the hell out of them.”

UL clan was founded in late 2002 by Valkyrie (retired), Legend (a.k.a. Shake), and Gabby (a.k.a. Apollosgirl, retired). Thereafter, the original Undying Legends set about earning a place in the highly-competitive RtCW multiplayer arena, joining several other gaming clans in the clash for dominance in the international Wolfenstein community.
Eagerly rising to a challenge, the Undying Legends won their first official clan war, crushing rival clan “Mother Russia” (MR) through superior group cohesion. The Undying Legends have been prominent in the RtCW 1.0 international community ever since, consistently emerging victorious – exploits recorded in the annals of RtCW 1.0, by which the UL clan name has passed from idle forecast to factual description.
Other rivals of note from the early days include the “Dogs of War” (DOG); the illustrious “Lords of Death” (LOD); and the infamous “Cruel Ruthless Aggressive Killas” (CRAK), as well as several lesser known clans which have long since faded into obscurity – and in some cases, ill repute. All have fallen; yet we prevail.

“It was a very sexual clan at first.”

From the very beginning, what has distinguished us from all other Wolfenstein clans is the fact that the Undying Legends self-identify as “a family. An inbred, hillbilly, and effective family – why else would we have outlasted all the other superpowers?” As with the present members of the family, the first Undying Legends were very close-knit; Loyalty is without a doubt the single most important factor contributing to UL's longevity as a clan.
To this day, the closeness that was characteristic of the original Undying Legends remains a central attribute of the UL family, even outside of Internet gaming. Clan members offer each other advice on real-life personal issues; Among the Undying Legends, friendly relationships often form that extend beyond the confines of Castle Wolfenstein.

“I'd rather be playing Wolfenstein than fishing for Alaskan crab.”

Undying Legends maintain an active presence in the Wolfenstein 1.0 community, participating in (and winning) scrimmages as a clan on a frequent basis and gaming in public servers as individuals virtually around the clock. Beyond our well-earned reputation for outstanding performance in competitive gameplay, the Undying Legends are widely considered “cool people” to game with. In chorus with our convivial internal atmosphere, those factors have enabled the Undying Legends to attract some of the top players in Wolfenstein 1.0 to join our family.
As a result of a stringent yet somewhat democratic recruitment process, players who earn the title of "Undying Legend" are the best of the best - dedicated individuals possessing a winning combination of skill, teamwork, positive attitude, and most of all, personality. By carefully screening potential new members to the clan, UL avoids the infighting and drama that plague many online gaming associations. Our dynamic combination of tactics and sportsmanship makes the Undying Legends not only a force to be reckoned with, but also a pleasure to compete against.
The Undying Legends' dedicated membership includes many of the top North American and European players of Wolfenstein, with the United States, Canada, and Mexico represented alongside Germany, Austria, France, England, and Spain. Beyond that, many of the most recognizable names in RtCW 1.0 history belong to former and current Undying Legends -- including Ron Mexico, Blackfire, Gsicht Vienna, and King Henry. Providing experience and depth for the UL roster are veteran Wolfenstein gamers Rabbi, Kool Breeze, Bluet!me, and Morbid Angel. Rounding out the diverse and talented group of players known as the Undying Legends are some of RtCW 1.0's loveliest ladies: Lily, Baby Girl, Gwendy, and Ammohog.
Outside of success in Wolfenstein, the Undying Legends are similarly inclined towards notoriety offline. UL clan members are involved in every activity and occupation known to man, including military service (Gambit), dentistry / sales (Hilts), e-commerce (Lurid), musical performance (Gwendy, Exodus), marketing (Kool), landscaping (Rabbi), entertainment / tourism (Lily), celebrity stalking / engineering (Gsicht), and skateboarding (Oops).
Still true to the name after more than half a decade, the UL family continues to epitomize the traits that brought us together in the first place: camaraderie, persistence, and ownage.
